Screeeech!

Stop
My normally busy life hit the brakes hard this last Monday when my mom went into Mercy Hospital in Aurora for surgery.  She is a cancer survivor for many years now, and she had a tumor removed, which was THANKFULLY benign.

As I sat there waiting through surgery, and nursing her at her home, I was once again reminded how relatively insignificant much of my TO DO list really is.  I get caught up in all the stuff that fills my day… only to be reminded every once in a while that God is still in control, and I serve Him, not the other way around.
