Pescados in Midlothian Virginia

Jen and I had some time to get away recently… and we went out east to Virginia.

We honey-mooned out in this part of the country and it was nice to get back.  I haven’t posted about our trip because a dear friend became ill and eventually passed while we were gone and upon our arrival home, so we have been grieving his loss and busy upon our return.

But while there we connected with some good friends, Walter and Sally Felton, at a great restaurant in Midlothian called Pescados.  This place is a great little independent eatery specializing in Latin and Caribbean seafood dishes.  I had the Ahi Tuna (served raw of course!) that was serviced with a wonderful habanero pepper reduction and glazed sweet potatoes… even though I ate this meal over a week ago, my mouth is still watering!

If you are ever around the west side of Richmond, check out Pescados and get the Tuna!
